In Poland, on November 6, thousands of demonstrations against the ban on abortions under the slogan 'Not one more' ' took place. The reason for the speeches was the death of a pregnant woman who was refused an abortion.
A week ago, Polish media published the story of a 30-year-old woman who was hospitalized in her 22nd week of pregnancy when her waters broke. Before that, the fetus was diagnosed with deformities. The woman died of septic shock. Her family and lawyer believe doctors waited too long to terminate the pregnancy. The case is being investigated by local supervisory authorities.
On October 22, 2020, the Constitutional Court ruled to ban abortions in Poland due to 39; fetal pathology that does not threaten the life and health of the mother. The verdict sparked a massive wave of protests across the country demanding the resignation of the government and the departure of the ruling Law and Justice party in Poland. Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
