In 2022, the reconstruction of 101 buildings of the city's polyclinics will continue, be completed or begin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at the opening of the Branch No. 4 of the City Polyclinic No. 191 in the Golyanovo District.

In addition, the Mayor spoke via video link with the team of Branch No. 2 of the City Children's Clinic No. 12 in Orekhovo-Borisovo Severny. Both dispensaries have recently started operating after reconstruction.

“In Moscow, every month, a program for the reconstruction of polyclinics is unfolding more and more on a large scale. This is the biggest program in the history of Moscow. Such volumes of reconstruction and revision have never been made. This year we will start the reconstruction of 100 polyclinics. For next year, design estimates are being prepared for 68”, — Sobianin said.

He recalled that more than 200 polyclinics will be rebuilt by 2024, including 137 polyclinics of the first stage and about 70 buildings of the second stage.

“In 2020-2022, the reconstruction of 34 polyclinic buildings with a total area of ​​more than 110,000 square meters has been completed. m.In 2022, it is planned to reconstruct 101 outpatient clinic buildings. The mayor noted that the reconstruction solves several problems, including creating comfortable conditions for doctors and visitors, increasing the number and quality of medical services.

Sergey Sobyanin thanked doctors for their work during the pandemic, saying that polyclinics have coped with the omicron wave.

“Thank you very much — to all clinic workers. During this wave that we have experienced in the omicron, you have of course had to deal with colossal workloads. I think you succeeded. We can confidently say that Moscow doctors, Moscow polyclinics withstood this blow and provided the necessary medical assistance to everyone who turned to you, — he said, adding that there was a need to restore the projected aid volumes from before the pandemic.

“I think in a week we will resume completely normal work”, — suggested the mayor of Moscow.
