The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, instructed the management of the Kronstadt company, which produces military drones, to establish a company for the maintenance of these devices.
According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense, on January 27, Shoigu inspected the first Russian factory for the production of military drones in Dubna, near Moscow.
He it is assumed that the service company will provide shipping services and a full cycle of equipment maintenance.
During a visit to the factory, the Minister met is acquainted with the first flight model of the Orion attack drone, equipped with a satellite communication module, which makes it possible to significantly increase the flight range of the reconnaissance vehicle.
Add, this year Russia plans to complete the creation of new air defense models “Pantsir-SM-SV”, “Bypass-Air Defense”; and Typhoon-Air Defense. Also in 2022, the Russian army will receive the first Gibka-S short-range air defense systems.
