Oil spill response in Thailand

Thailand continues to clean up the aftermath of an oil spill on an undersea pipeline. The accident happened in the Gulf of Thailand, 20 kilometers off the coast of Rayong province. More than 50,000 liters of oil spilled into the ocean from the underwater part of the pipeline used to load tankers at the offshore berth owned by Star Petroleum (SPRC) . An oil slick hits the coastline of Rayong province, Mae Rampueng beach has been declared a disaster area.
