In Tatarstan, on November 8, joint exercises began with the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) “ Indestructible Brotherhood '' 2021 & # 39 ;. The exercises take place on the training ground of the Kazan Higher School of Tank Command.
On the Russian side, soldiers from a separate peacekeeping unit from the Samara region, as well as forces and means of communication, special-purpose, electronic warfare, protection NBC (troops for protection against radiation, chemicals and biologicals) and the Military District Military Police (CVO), participate in the exercises. The military from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the exercise to practice joint actions. In total, around 1,800 people and up to 300 pieces of equipment are involved.
The exercises will take place from November 8 to 12. There, OTSC forces will work out the planning and conduct of a peacekeeping operation, joint actions to organize and protect a refugee camp, escort convoys with humanitarian cargo and ensure service at checkpoints. The exercise will end with a tactical episode of blocking and destroying a colony captured by illegal armed groups.
