Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishoustine signed an order on the allocation of 10.9 billion rubles to regions to provide citizens with free coronavirus medicine. This is reported on the government website.
It is noted that with additional funds it will be possible to provide medicine to 1.8 million Russians.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin asked the government to buy expensive drugs at federal budget and send them to regions to treat COVID-19 patients in hospitals. In addition, the Council of Ministers is required to ensure daily monitoring of the availability of medicines, including medical oxygen, to help people infected with the coronavirus.
