Frosts are expected on the night of September 5 to 6 in central Russia, including in the Moscow region. This was reported to RIA Novosti by a prominent employee of the Phobos Meteorological Center. Evgeny Tishkovets.
According to the forecaster, on Monday the Central Federal District will remain in the rear of the North Atlantic cyclone, where new portions of the polar cold will continue to flow. Because of this, on the morning of September 6, the thermometer may drop to zero degrees, in some places freezing on the ground is possible.
In some areas of the Murmansk region, by this time it will already be minus 1 – minus 4, noted Tishkovets. In northern Russia, local precipitation will turn to wet snow, and unstable snow cover will form in the mountainous regions of the Polar Urals.
Recall that at the end of August the first frosts were recorded in central Russia. In the central forest reserve of the Tver region, the thermometer dropped to -0.2 degrees.
