Roskomnadzor sent a letter to Google LLC demanding to remove restrictions imposed by YouTube on the video of State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky on discrimination against Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V , according to the official website of the department.
The video, to which access has been restricted by the administration of the video hosting, covers issues of the pandemic, vaccination, and also discusses the creation of Russian drug barriers abroad.
As RKN representatives noted, such actions by Google violate key principles of free dissemination of information, unhindered access to it is an act of censorship.
A letter has been sent to company management demanding that all video restrictions be removed as soon as possible.
Recall that previously Roskomnadzor also fined Twitter four million rubles & nbsp; for non-compliance with Russian law.
