Immediately in several resort areas of Turkey, located in the province of Antalya, forest fires are raging. According to authorities, 122 people were injured, at least 3 people died.
The forest fire started on July 28, according to preliminary data, due to the intense heat. The flame spread quickly because of the wind. The most serious situation is in the Manavgat region, 70 km from Antalya: the fire has already destroyed farmland, pets, damaged houses.
Residents of three blocks in the city of Side were evacuated. The fires are extinguished from the air by 15 helicopters and two planes. In addition, Russian firefighting aircraft Be-200 provide assistance to Turkish firefighters to extinguish a large forest fire in Antalya province.
