The head of the RF Ministry of Emergency Situations, Evgeny Zinichev, decided to send two Be-200 amphibious planes to Yakutia to help with the emergency. forest fire suppression.

As reported on the official website of the department, in the next 24 hours a plane from the Krasnoyarsk air rescue center will arrive in Mirny. The second plane of the Southern Aviation Rescue Center will arrive from Rostov-on-Don.

It is noted that a difficult situation persists in 13 districts. 187 natural fires have been recorded there. For this reason, Yakutsk and 51 other settlements are in the smoke zone.

Over 2,200 people and over 270 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing fires in the region.

Previously it was reported that the movement of ships on the Lena River was suspended due to the smoke. In addition, in Yakutia, due to a forest fire and smoke, traffic was blocked on the 170th kilometer of the Anabar road.
