In the village of Kamchatka captured a “tornado” of mosquitoes

In Kamchatka, one of the villages was covered by a mosquito tornado, reports the Kamchatka-inform portal.

A natural phenomenon has been captured in Ust-Kamchatsk. The pictures show how a swarm of insects forms a pillar, which then disintegrates.

As entomologist Lyudmila Lobkova explained, such a 'tornado' does not present any danger. According to her, these are male mosquitoes that do not attack warm-blooded animals, but revolve around one or more females to mate.

The expert added that this phenomenon occurs annually, but it can be observed depending on the number of insects and the weather.
