From 1 September, parents of children up to and including seven years of age will be able to receive a maximum of holiday allowances illness in case of illness of a child. Sick leave pay in the amount of 100% of average salary will not depend on seniority. Only the amount of the salary will affect the amount of the allowance.
The law on the payment of allowances for temporary incapacity for work linked to the care of a child up to 100% of the average salary was approved on May 19 by the Federation Council .
How are sick leave calculated now? & nbsp;
Now, the amount of temporary disability benefits depends on the length of the employee's insurance period. If you have insurance experience of up to five years, it is 60% of the average salary, but not more than 44,400 rubles on average per month. If the insurance experience is five to eight years, the amount of sick leave payment is 80% of the average salary, but not more than 59,200 rubles on average per month. For those who have eight or more years of insurance, the payment is equal to 100% of the average salary, but not more than 74,001 rubles on average per month.
Will the changes result in increased compensation for employers spending? & Nbsp;
The press service of the Ministry of Labor said that the new sick leave payment system will not lead to increased expenses for employers, since payments are made directly to from the budget of the Insurance Fund (FSS). & nbsp;
Do parents need to write additional documents? & nbsp;
Parents do not need to write additional documents. The FSS will carry out calculations itself on the basis of sick leave data, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
