125 grams of hype. How in Gelendzhik they were going to sell “seat bread”

The attitude to the Great Patriotic War in our country is not without excess. While some individuals are horrified by the “victory frenzy”, there are characters on the other side who don't see the difference between respect and vulgarity.

The happiest 872 days

January 27 marks the day of the complete lifting of the blockade of Leningrad. During the operation “January Thunder” in January 1944, the troops of the Leningrad Front destroyed the enemy grouping Peterhof-Strelna, pushed the enemy to a distance of 60-100 km from the city, liberated Krasnoe Selo, Ropsha, Krasnogvardeisk, Pushkin, Slutsk and, in cooperation with the front of the Volk troops, completely liberated Leningrad from the enemy blockade.

The key moment of the operation was the capture of Krasnogvardeysk on January 26, which meant the collapse of the continuous front of the German defense — The Nazi 18th Army was divided into two unequal parts.

On January 27, an order of the Military Council of the Leningrad Front was read on the radio, which spoke of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the blockade. In honor of the victory, twenty-four artillery salvoes of 324 guns were fired.

The worst blockade in the history of mankind , which lasted 872 days, is over. For the inhabitants of the city of the Neva, and today is one of the most important days of the year.

“Our technologists have come up with the most approximate recipe for bread, which was eaten by the residents of besieged Leningrad

Remember her and d  other cities in the country. Admittedly, sometimes it is a very special memory.

One of the bakeries in the city of Gelendzhik posted on Instagram about the release of new products: “On January 27, 1944, the soldiers of the Soviet Union managed to completely break through the blockade of Leningrad, which lasted 872 days. The inhabitants of the city were in the most difficult conditions and the supplies were dwindling day by day. As a result, a rationing system was instituted: workers received 250g of bread a day, everything else— of 125 g. Our technologists have come up with the most approximate recipe for bread, which was eaten by the residents of besieged Leningrad in these difficult times.

Questions from users on social networks about the price of products answered that “welding” will cost 52 rubles.

“One hundred and twenty-five grams of blockade with fire and blood in two”

Besieged Leningrad experienced a severe food shortage. During the most terrible first winter of the blockade, the standards for the distribution of bread steadily declined. 375 grams per day for hot store workers, 200 grams— workers and engineers, employees, dependents and children up to 12  — 125 grams.

In"Leningrad Poem" Poet Olga Bergoltsthere are these lines:

Forward! Like blisters moan,

frozen in palm mitts.

But he delivers bread, drives

to the bakery before dawn.< /p >

Sixteen thousand mothers

rations will be received at dawn—

one hundred and twenty-five grams blockade

with&nbsp ;fire and blood in two.

For the inhabitants of Leningrad, this piece of bread was a thin thread separating life from death. In Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery there are hundreds of thousands of those who were not destined to survive the excruciating torture of starvation.

And siege bread ;— this is definitely no occasion for hype and weird experiences.

“More than 1,000 free rations will be distributed to everyone in the central square of the city”

After angry comments on social networks, the Gelendzhik bakery made changes to its page on the social network: “According to the established tradition, more than 1000 free rations will be distributed to everyone in the central square of the city. The company received requests from locals and guests of Gelendzhik to include “Siege” feelings of people who survived the blockade”.

The user under the nickname ornellamytit says: “I live in  St. for those who invented all this, visit the memorial cemetery in Piskarevskoye. I don't even want to write anything else, it's very disgusting of similar stories these days. It's just some kind of mockery of memory.

The ;action “Siege pain”: a reminder of the exploit

Recently, in Russia, the All-Russian action “Siege Bread” was held annually in January, designed to remember the courage and endurance of Leningrad civilians during the years of the Great Patriotic War. Within its framework, “Lessons of Courage”, exhibitions on life in the besieged city and other events are held. Part of the “Siege Bread” action is the distribution of pieces of rye bread for  125 grams, so that everyone can see for themselves what the daily diet of the inhabitants of Leningrad looked like . But the organizers of the action mostly insist — we are talking about ordinary modern bread, and no one is looking to repeat the recipe that was forced to be used in the city, squeezed under the grip of the Nazis. The   tracts that the volunteers give to everyone with bread

"Symbolic breads" : how should not be done“ not everyone considers it a success due to the extreme subtlety of the subject matter. Over the past two years, scandals around her have thundered in the Crimea. First, in 2020 in Kerch, representatives of local authorities started distributing “symbolic breads” to survivors of the blockade living in the city. Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonovcalled such a situation “wild”, and those responsible for what happened had to leave their posts.

In 2021 she “distinguished herself” administration of the Perovsky rural settlement of the Simferopol region. As part of the Blockade Bread campaign, local volunteers distributed 125 gram rations of bread to the elderly.

In the rural village of Perovsky, it was decided to organize an action by visiting the elderly at home. According to the rules of the action, everyone who wanted to receive a symbolic blockade ration — 125 grams of bread. In addition, the inhabitants of the colony with the status of “children of war” received food parcels. Residents accepted the volunteer help with  gratitude”, — RIA Novosti quoted an explanation from the authorities.

What kind of technology for obtaining collagen from jellyfish is being developed in the Russian Federation?

Collagen for cosmetic and medical purposes in Russia can begin to be obtained from jellyfish in the Sea of Azov. The corresponding unique technology is developed by scientists from Don State Technical University (DSTU), the news service of university reports.

Why did scientists decide to start obtaining collagen from jellyfish?

< p>Today, in the cosmetic, medical and sports industries, marine fish collagen and bovine skin collagen are used. This raw material often leads to allergic reactions or rejection of implants, the DSTU scientists noted. At the same time, jellyfish do not have complex structures and pathogens in their bodies, which reduces the risk of negative reactions.

Usually, when catching fish, the jellyfish caught in the nets are returned to the sea. DSTU biologists suggest using them to obtain inexpensive and high-quality raw materials.

“Collagen — one of the main proteins contained in the human body, » — says Dean of the Faculty of “Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine” Alexei Ermakov. In cosmetology, it is used in injections and as an additional component in skin care cosmetics. In sports nutrition, collagen is added to strengthen joints, and in regenerative medicine, it can be used in skin implants for burns to restore skin, as well as injections into joints that restore function. In addition, collagen can act as part of a nutrient medium for growing cell cultures in the laboratory.

How is the development of new technologies going?

As part of the study, scientists are separating the domes of jellyfish from the tentacles. This helps reveal the concentration of collagen in both parts. Then the jellyfish parts are sequentially treated with various reagents and centrifuged, which precipitates water and other proteins from the bodies. Following a chain of successive chemical reactions, a precipitate of pure collagen is obtained. Additionally, auxiliary components are added to the resulting extract, which improve the physical properties and gel structure of the extract, as well as maintain its pH balance.

Collagen obtained from jellyfish also awaits testing for skin compatibility, for the presence of pathogens and for safety against allergic reactions.

How will the new technology help?

The new technology will also benefit the ecological state of the region, according to experts.

“ A large number of jellyfish in the Sea of Azov disturbs the balance of the ecosystem. Increased salinity and water temperature, the abundance of the food base contribute to excessive reproduction of the population. Thus, the sea is polluted by an excess of jellyfish biomass, — considers an employee of the Department of “Bioengineering” DSTU Elena Vereshchak.

Fall in. F-35 crashed while landing on an aircraft carrier

Seven members of the United States Navy were injured in an emergency landing of a fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet on the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson in the South China Sea. The plane made a “failed landing”, the pilot ejected and was rescued by a helicopter. Three sailors from the crew of the Carl Vinson were taken to a hospital in the Philippines and four others received medical treatment aboard the ship.

The F-35 incident happened when two carrier strike groups led by Carl Vinson and the USS Abraham Lincoln with more than 14,000 sailors and marines were conducting exercises in the sea from southern China. The military says the exercise was intended to demonstrate “the ability of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command's joint forces to provide a powerful naval force.”

The F-35C Joint Strike Fighter was flying in the South China Sea when an accident occurred. Officially, his reasons have not yet been disclosed, but the fact of the accident is confirmed.

Spokesman for the US 7th Fleet, Lt. Nicholas Lingo , confirmed that the aircraft struck the cockpit during landing and then crashed into the water. It was reported that the impact was not too strong, all equipment is working. The aircraft is to be restored and will be able to resume its flights. In addition, the aircraft carrier was able to resume normal flight activities soon after.

Three sailors from the crew of the Carl Vinson were taken to a hospital in the Philippines, where their condition is now considered stable, and four others received medical treatment aboard the vessel.

p>

According to the Pentagon, two US Navy carrier battle groups led by Carl Vinson and the USS Abraham Lincoln began operations in the South China Sea on Sunday. The carriers entered disputed waters after China launched 39 planes, mostly fighters, near Taiwan. It was the biggest show of strength in recent months. Given the area in which the incident took place, it was feared that the fighter might fall into the hands of representatives of the Chinese military.

The F-35C is the only long-range stealth attack fighter designed to operate from aircraft carriers. This accident was the first for the F-35C, the ship version of the fighter, and the second F-35 disaster in 2022. The F-35 aircraft is manufactured by Lockheed Martin. The naval version can fly at 1.6 times the speed of sound and has a range of 1,200 nautical miles.

Each loss of an F-35 costs about $100 million, which is the average cost of an aircraft of this class. Recall that on January 4, an F-35A of the South Korean Air Force collided with a bird and made an emergency landing “on the belly”, because the landing gear not extended. Instead of ejecting, the pilot decided to land an American-made vessel on the air base. The equipment failed due to electronic problems, a South Korean air force spokesman said, forcing the pilot to take unprecedented action. A military official declined to comment on whether the plane sustained any damage in the incident, but the pilot escaped unscathed.

In November 2021, a British F-35 crashed from the USS Queen Elizabeth in the Mediterranean Sea. In April 2019, a Japanese F-35 stealth fighter crashed into the Pacific Ocean off northern Japan, killing the pilot.

In 2020, Pentagon tests have revealed 276 different malfunctions in the aircraft's combat system. The list included excessive gun vibration, VR headset issues, overheating, premature component wear in vertical tails, and vulnerability to fire.

This incident is also the second U.S. military involvement in the South China Sea.

In October, the nuclear submarine USS Connecticut sank crashed on a seamount, injuring 11 sailors, forward ballast tanks — damaged. The investigation showed that the accident could have been avoided and the commander was relieved of his duties.

What kind of major Arctic exercises has the Northern Fleet launched?

The forces of the Russian Northern Fleet began to carry out practical actions in the Barents Sea and on the coastal training grounds as part of exercises with the Arctic Expeditionary Group. The maneuvers are part of a series of exercises conducted by the Russian Navy in different regions of the world ocean.

Participants and actors

About 1,200 military personnel, 30 ships, 140 units of military equipment and 20 aircraft are taking part in the exercises. The detachment includes the missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov, the frigate Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov and the large anti-submarine ship Vice Admiral Kulakov. Submarines and support vessels will also be involved in the event. Fleet operations are practiced with the Arctic Expeditionary Strike Group. The maneuvers are conducted under the leadership of Admiral Alexander Moiseev, Commander of the Fleet.

Legend of exercises

These exercises were previously included in the training plan of the Russian Armed Forces for 2022. To ensure military security, warships will test naval combat tactics and methods in the Arctic region, protecting communications of the Northern Sea Route. A number of exercises will take place on the coastal training grounds of the Murmansk region.

It should be noted that during the exercises the level of readiness of the military command and control bodies of the fleet in planning and conducting actions to resolve crisis situations in the region of the #39;Arctic Ocean will be evaluated. The military will also assess the command and control of forces and troops as part of resolving military security and maritime economic activity assurance issues.

Previously, the operational command of the Norwegian Armed Forces informed the Northern Fleet about the multinational exercise Cold Response 2022 in March-April. Lieutenant General Yngve Odlonoted that the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway strictly adheres to the Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures, adopted at the OSCE Forum in 2011, and upholds the transparency of major military exercises. Admiral Alexander Moiseev thanked the commander for the information provided and wished his Norwegian colleagues success in their military maneuvers.  A source at the Russian military department said the Zirkon armed with hypersonic missiles would observe the maneuvers. “Admiral Gorshkov”, which will advance to NATO ships when the exercises begin.

Teachings around the world

Teachings in the Arctic – This is just one episode of Russian Navy combat training. In January-February, the fleet conducts a series of naval exercises under the general supervision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. The Navy and Aerospace Forces practice actions to protect Russian national interests in the global ocean, as well as to counter military threats from the sea and ocean. The exercises will cover the waters of the seas adjacent to Russian territory, as well as operationally significant areas of the world ocean. Separate exercises will take place in the waters of the Mediterranean, the North Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk, in the northeastern part of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean.< /p>

In total, it is planned to involve more than 140 warships and support ships, more than 60 aircraft, 1000 units of military equipment, about 10,000 military personnel to participate in the events.

< p>So, the day before, a joint Russian-Chinese naval exercise “Pacific Sea-2022” was held in the Arabian Sea. The Russian Navy was represented by a detachment of ships from the Pacific Fleet: the missile cruiser Varyag, the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributes; and the big offshore tanker Boris Butoma. The Chinese Navy was represented by the missile destroyer “Urumqi” and the supply ship Taihu. Navy sailors from both countries worked to release a conditionally captured ship. and “conscious” goes a long way. The goal is to provide naval presence and fly the flag of St. Andrew in various areas of the world ocean.

Today more than 20 ships, combat boats and support ships of the Black Sea Fleet as part of ship groups left the bases in Sevastopol and Novorossiysk, after which they undertook to move to the assigned areas.

In addition, the Russian fleet will conduct exercises  in the Atlantic Ocean, the Irish Sea. Previously Russia notified Dublin of the exercise. They will take place 240km off the south west coast of Ireland — in international waters, but within the exclusive economic zone of the country.
