Plot Criminal case against the Governor of Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Furgala
The preliminary investigation into the case of the ex-governor of the Khabarovsk Territory , Sergei Furgal, is over, his lawyer Dmitri Dovgy told RIA Novosti.
As of December 2, the Defense will begin to study the file on the organization of a criminal community and seven episodes of fraud on a particularly large scale.
He clarified that the day before, Furgalu was charged again. This was done due to a technical error, on November 24th these charges were first laid.
Recall that the ex-governor was detained last summer in Khabarovsk and escorted to Moscow, where the Basmanny court arrested him. The investigation finds that Furgal and Nikolai Mistryukov in 2004 formed an organized group to commit murders of competitors. The politician denies any involvement in the alleged crimes.
Previously, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation determined that the case would be heard by the Lyubertsy Municipal Court with the participation of a jury.
