The abnormal heat in Moscow has been going on for several days. The temperature record on June 24 in Moscow was 34.5 degrees, almost a degree higher than the previous record.
Forecasters expect the weather to be 'like in the tropics' by the end of the week. The fault of everything & mdash; strong blocking high pressure. Experts recall that a similar situation developed in the summer of 2010. Then, due to the blocking cyclone, the 30-degree heat lasted for almost two months & mdash; during the last ten days of June, all of July and the first half of August.
