A new S-550 anti-aircraft missile system is being created in the Russian Federation, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The military department clarified that during meetings in Sochi 1- November 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin placed special emphasis “ on the importance of the advanced development of national defense systems air and missile defense, supplies to the armed forces of the S-350, S-500, S-550 systems. & # 39; & # 39;
Details on the characteristics of the new missile system are not given.
As a reminder, speaking at a military meeting in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin also said that the first serial sample of the S-500 Prometheus missile system; plans to supply the Russian army soon.
