The plane of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill cannot land in Orel because of the fog. This is reported by TASS with reference to Metropolitan Tikhon of Oryol and Blokhov.
According to him, the arrival of Patriarch Kirill is expected in Orel. There he is to participate in the consecration of the Kazan Church Icon of the Mother of God.
Metropolitan Tikhon noted that parishioners and representatives of the clergy will pray for the health of the Patriarch and his successful landing
Earlier it was reported that Patriarch Kirill had spoken a sermon at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. The event was held in honor of the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.
