Murashko explained why the WHO did not recognize Sputnik V in time

Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, in an interview with AiF.ru, explained why the Sputnik V vaccine has not been recognized by the WHO in September, as planned.

According to him, the organization had no complaints about the vaccine itself, the questions only concerned the preparation of the dossier, it was that is, a package of documents that is made up for each pharmaceutical product.

“ Each country has its own form of folder. The Russian Federation and five EurAsEC countries have their own approaches to registration ',' & ndash; explained the minister.

He noted that now the documents have been completed, and all disagreements have been removed.

“ The registration company in a week & ndash; a week and a half should bring all of the documents and the rest of the process will begin ',' & ndash; Murashko said.

Earlier, the creators of the first Russian coronavirus vaccine suggested that the World Health Organization would register their drug by the end of November.
