The Chinese rover has traveled more than 1 km on the surface of Mars

The Chinese Mars rover “ Chzhuzhong '' has traveled more than a kilometer on the surface of Mars, reports the Central Television of the People's Republic of China.

The rover has traveled this distance since it landed on the planet on May 15. During this time, the device collected data on features of the Martian landscape, soil, weather.

The Chinese Mars exploration spacecraft Tianwen 1 launched on July 23, 2020 using the Changzheng-5 launcher. In May of this year & nbsp; the Chinese interplanetary station & nbsp; made a successful landing.

Previously, the rover transmitted photos from Mars to Earth. One image shows a panorama of the horizon from the landing site. Also, the Chinese space agency released a video with its rover.
