A criminal case has been opened over the fact of an attack in Moscow against hockey player Daniil Yamshchikov, reports TASS.
According to the Moscow Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation, the incident happened on Sunday evening on Tsvetnoy Boulevard near the Tanuki restaurant. During the conflict with Yamshchikov, one of the men stabbed him with a knife. The athlete was hospitalized with a deep neck injury.
The attacker has been arrested. A criminal case was brought against him under the 'z & # 39; & # 39; clause. h. 2 tbsp. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“ Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm '').
According to available data, 23-year-old Yamshchikov previously played in the School of Youth Sports Cup and the Moscow Open Championship for the Meteor team.
Recall that in the spring the former Red Army club hockey player Kevin Antipov reported the attack to the police. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened.
