Russia has developed a 'health shield' project to prevent the importation of dangerous infections into the country and the development of a pandemic. This is what Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and Projects.
According to her, this project will allow the development of test systems in four days, and vaccines & ndash; in four months.
By 2024, express diagnostics will be available at over 240 border checkpoints.

The Deputy Prime Minister also touched on plans to create a new medical rehabilitation system, which will start operating in 2022. She added that by 2024, around 75% of all rehabilitation departments and centers will be equipped with modern equipment.
Note that under the concept of “ health shield '' means a new sanitary quarantine control at the borders, which will be more reinforced and mobile. Earlier, Anna Popova, Russia's chief medical officer, explained that the main task of such a program should be the passage of any epidemic without resorting to containment and without disrupting the ordinary life of the population.
