Corvette 'Smart' fired at a target in the Baltic Sea as part of an exercise, writes Interfax; with reference to the Baltic Fleet press service.
The crew of the corvette performed the task of repelling a missile strike against a complex air target mimicking an anti-ship missile of a conventional enemy.
The firing was carried out using a sea-based “ Redoubt '' anti-aircraft missile system (SAM).
Earlier it was reported exercises of airborne forces in the Crimean and Krasnodar Territory. They were carried out by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Also in December, the Navy conducted a covert deployment of ships for the first time.
