The Minister added that EMERCOM employees have saved millions of lives, eliminated thousands of emergencies and carried out hundreds of humanitarian operations.

Today the head of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the acting head of the Ministry of Emergencies, Colonel General of Internal Services Alexander Chupriyan, laid flowers on the monument to the rescuers and firefighters in Moscow.
