Almost 668,000 foreigners were granted Russian citizenship between January and November of this year, reported the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation.
The number of affected persons whose decision was taken to acquire Russian citizenship was 667 & nbsp; 939, specified in the summary of key performance indicators on the migration situation in the country.
During the same period last year, 563,342 foreigners became citizens of Russia, almost 100,000 less than in 2021.
In addition, it is reported that from January to November of this year, 72,884 people participated in the state program of assistance for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad in Russia.
Previously, it was reported that migrants from the Russian Federation will issue a card with a fingerprint chip. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Interior Ministry of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the document comes into force on December 29.
