History Protests in Kazakhstan in the face of rising gas prices
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that hundreds of soldiers and civilians were injured and killed in Alma-Ata by terrorists.
The politician has addressed the people of the country for the third time since the mass protests began in the republic.
Since January 2, its inhabitants have been protesting against a sharp increase in the prices of liquefied gas.
Earlier it was reported that Tokayev thanked Vladimir Putin for his swift response to the request to bring in peacekeepers.
In addition, the Kazakh leader has said 20,000 bandits attacked Alma-Ata. The counterterrorism operation continues.
