VTsIOM: Russians' happiness index has risen dramatically in the past six months

VTsIOM has released data from a survey of Russians devoted to happiness.

According to the center, over the past six months, despite the coronavirus pandemic, the happiness index in the Russian Federation has grown significantly.

< p> Thus, 84% of those surveyed said they considered themselves happy, while 14% did not consider themselves happy. Thus, the happiness index was 71 points, which is 17 points higher than the March indicator (54 points) and 5 points higher than the previous year's indicator ( 66 points in November 2020).

The bulk of the survey participants consider themselves happy thanks to their health and their lives and those of their loved ones (29%), the having a family (27%), children (22%), general life satisfaction (21%) or a good job (20%).

Russians cannot feel happy because of the situation in the country (8%), general lack of money (7%), lack of stability (6%) and because of family problems (5%).

Previously, it was reported that more than 20% of Russians considered the profession of MP to be the most overestimated. Respondents also believe that politicians, civil servants and senior executives receive unwarranted salaries.

In addition, sociologists have found out how much Russians spend a month on pet food. Pet owners are willing to pay more for safe and healthy food for their pets.
