In 2022, the Russian army will begin to receive parachutes for jumping with dogs

The parachute system, which will allow the landing of a handler with a service dog, will begin to enter the armed forces Russians next year, TASS reports citing a source.

It is intended for landing from a height of up to 4000 meters of a dog weighing up to 45 kilograms with a parachutist or in tandem parachutist and dog handler.

According to the results of preliminary tests, after a jump the dog behaves correctly and is ready to perform tasks after landing.

This system was first developed in Russia. Its state testing is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation also passed the field tests of the autonomous group of Marker shock robots.
