Category 1 Hurricane Pamela, which formed over the Pacific Ocean, hit several states in northwestern Mexico on Wednesday. The center of the cyclone was located 60 km from the city of Mazatlan. A strong wind blew from the roofs of the houses, the wind speed reached 33.3 m/s with gusts up to 42 m/s. Heavy rains caused flooding and landslides. Hurricane Pamela caused power outages, nearly 200,000 people were left without power, emergency services were put on high alert. Hurricane Pamela subsided Wednesday evening before a tropical storm, the cyclone moves inland. There is no information on the victims yet.
