Journalist Vsevolod Ovchinnikov will be buried in the Troekurovsky cemetery

On September 3, the international journalist, writer Vsevolod Ovchinnikov will be buried in the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. This is reported by TASS with reference to the editor-in-chief of Rossiyskaya Gazeta Vladislav Fronin.

He noted that the farewell ceremony with Ovchinnikov will take place in the ritual hall of the Troekurovsky cemetery. After that, the funeral will take place, Fronin added.

Vsevolod Ovchinnikov was born on November 17, 1926. He worked for the newspaper Pravda for almost 40 years. In recent years, the journalist has conducted in the “ Rossiyskaya Gazeta '' section “ Time with Ovchinnikov ''. In addition, he has written books such as Sakura Branch, Oak Roots, and Hot Ash. For them, Ovchinnikov received the State Prize of the USSR in 1985.

Previously, it was reported that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustine had expressed his condolences as a result of the death of international journalist Vsevolod Ovchinnikov.
