In the Kaliningrad region, special tactical exercises are organized for the military of the engineering company of the motorized rifle unit of the Baltic Fleet Army Corps on the Khmelevka training ground.
During the exercise, engineers train to establish routes through minefields, practice detecting and neutralizing explosive devices from a simulated enemy and also perform technical field recognition. In addition, the military practice the tasks of laying and masking mines, erecting engineering barriers, equipping fortifications, as well as setting up shelters for the personnel and equipment.
In total, more than 100 military personnel from an engineering company will be involved in special tactical exercises and around 20 units of military and special equipment. The courses at all training grounds in the Kaliningrad region will last until the beginning of September.
