Vietnam received the first batch of Russian Yak-130 fighters

Vietnam has received the first batch of Russian Yak-130 combat training aircraft, reports TASS citing a source in the military-industrial complex.

< p>According to the interlocutor of the agency, the first three aircraft out of 12 previously ordered were delivered to the country at the end of last year.

Recall that the contract for the purchase of at least 12 Yak-130 fighters worth more than 350 million dollars was signed in 2019.

The squadron of & #39;Russian aircraft purchased for the Vietnamese Air Force is to replace obsolete Czechoslovakian-made L-39s delivered to the country in the 1980s.

It has also been previously reported that China plans to acquire more than three dozen attack helicopters based on Ka-52K “Katran”.
