Prince Charles calls climate conference a saving straw

The main work of the conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will begin on November 1 with a two-day summit of world leaders. British Queen Elizabeth II, 95, was planning to attend the conference, but refused to travel on the advice of doctors due to health concerns. Instead of the Queen, her eldest son, known for his active stance on environmental issues, will attend the event.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the of the G20 summit by video link, said that our country is one of the leaders in global decarbonisation and low carbon energies are developing at a good pace.
