Soyuz-2.1b launcher with OneWeb satellites

On September 14, 2021 at 9:07 p.m. Moscow time, the Soyuz-2.1b launcher was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome; with the upper floor & # 39; Fregat & # 39; and 34 OneWeb spacecraft on board as part of Mission 36. After 563.9 seconds, the orbital block was launched into a suborbital path.

With this launch, the low-orbit constellation OneWeb will increase by 34 satellites and reach 322. This launch became the tenth in the OneWeb program, the second from Baikonur in 2021 and the fourth from this cosmodrome as a whole. The works are carried out under the contract of the company Glavkosmos (part of Roskosmos) with Arianespace and Starsem. The next launch of the OneWeb satellites is scheduled for October 14 from the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
