Almost 212,000 Russians have undergone an advanced medical examination since July 1 this year, 84% of them have had coronavirus and have chronic illnesses.
According to the results of the survey, 58.2% of citizens are subject to observation at a dispensary, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said during a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and the Cabinet of Ministers.
The reason for the low number of people who underwent medical examination, Golikova called the unfavorable epidemiological situation in several regions.
She noted that as soon as the situation improves, the comprehensive medical examination will be resumed, TASS reports.
The comprehensive medical examination is intended, in the first place, for those who have had the disease covid, but all citizens can undergo it. It was expected that 8.5 million people would submit to such a survey.
