Ministry of Defense to deploy mobile hospital for COVID-19 patients in Khakassia

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered a mobile hospital to be deployed in Khakassia to help treat coronavirus patients. This was reported by the press service of the military department.

The decision was taken after the appeal of the head of the republic, Valentin Konovalov.

The hospital is designed for 100 beds. It will be delivered to Khakassia from the Central Military District of the Chelyabinsk region.

It should be noted that a group of 67 military medics will be deployed to Abakan as soon as possible. In addition, the necessary volumes of medical oxygen will be delivered to the republic.

Recall that at the end of June, military doctors of the Western Military District (ZVO) began to treat the first patients with COVID-19 at the hospital in the city of Shchekino in the Toula region.
