Cloudy weather, light snow, moderate in some places, and icy conditions are expected in Moscow on Saturday, January 29, according to the official website of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.
According to the weather forecast, the daytime air temperature in the capital will be one to three degrees below zero. On Sunday night in the city it can drop to minus six degrees.
In the Moscow region, frosts up to six degrees are expected during the day. At night, the temperature in the area can drop to minus eight degrees.
East wind at a speed of up to ten meters per second. Atmospheric pressure will be 740 millimeters of mercury.
A yellow level of weather hazard has been declared in the area due to black ice. The warning will be in effect until 12:00 p.m. Sunday.
Earlier, Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand also said that frosts down to minus 20 degrees are expected in February in the capital region and central Russia.
